Lots of Things to do!

Porfell Animal land (www.porfell.co.uk)

This is brilliant place to go, we are regular visitors as our own children love it there! It is a short stroll from Trecan farm (less than a mile)

To the beach!

Cornwall has so many beautiful beaches it is difficult to decide where to go! The beaches from Polperro to Polruan are often deserted and great for swimming. One of our favourite beaches is Talland bay (5 miles away midway between Looe and Polperro) with beautiful coastal paths and rock pools there is something to keep everyone entertained! Looe has a lovely sandy beach and sand castle building is a must! They have egg hunts at Easter, raft races in summer and fishing trips all year. A trip to see Looe island and the marine conservation by ferry boat is a lovely day out. The North coast beaches of Rock, Polzeath, Newquay, and Padstow are only a short drive away and even St Ives, Penzance and Lands End are an easy day trip.

Cycling (www.nationaltrust.org.uk/lanhydrock)

We are closely situated to the Lanhydrock cycle hub which is perfect for cyclists of all abilities. Why not visit the national trust house and gardens whilst you are there! The Camel Trail cycle path from Bodmin to Wadebridge and Padstow is a lovely day out.

Fowey is a stunning historic little fishing village with tales of smugglers, beautiful shops and a lovely little beach. It is a firm favourite for locals and visitors alike, even home to some local celebrities!

The Eden Project (www.edenproject.com)

Another local must see, The highly acclaimed Eden Project has everything for a great day out and very educational!

Polmartin Riding stables (www.polmartinfarm.com) The riding stables are just a short walk from Trecan offering short or long rides, hacking and stable care for both experienced and inexperienced riders.
